Challenge Truck and bus manufacturer Scania needed to bring the standard of its Latin American factories into line with its European plants. This required the introduction of new production methods and modernised systems.
Solution To help local employees to understand the strategies and goals behind the plan, Scania asked us to produce a tailor-made publication that would support the process. The magazine Scania Global was produced in Spanish and Portuguese by our in-house journalists and focused on the reasoning behind each project backed up by interviews with key managers.
Result Scania succeeded in developing top of the line manufacturing facilities in Argentina and Brazil largely thanks to the increased awareness, competence and cooperation of the local employees. After five years of publishing, Scania Global was integrated into Scania's main personnel magazine Scania World, a six-language, worldwide publication.
